The Important Information from OPWDD and Other Mager Self Advocacy Agencies

There is so much information out there for people with Developmental Disabilities to know. They are looking for services that will help them move forward and to reach their goals as a Self-Advocate. I know those struggles because I have been there, and I have done a little digging and researching the resources to help my community out and that's why I'm publicizing those resources on my blog. OPWDD Housing those resources so important to have.

Community Habilitation is the most important thing to have while trying to look for reaching your goals. I have found so many information that is being held from the public. It upsets me that these Mager Corporations are hiding the most important information from the public and I'm grateful and blessed to share those resources with you. I pray that these resources will be helpful for you moving forward with your life and to find what you're looking for when it comes to services that you need.

Sanys Policy Statement those resources to look at the policies are important to look at. As a Self-Advocate you have every right to know what's out there that's available for you. I would recommend you call the agencies and ask if they can chime in and help you find that important information. 

Eligibility For OPWDD Services this is another important information for you to check out and that was through the Mental Health website, and I will keep going deeper into my research and I will share more information. You have every right to know what you're eligible for. By looking at these resources are the most important to help you moving forward to your independence. 

OPWDD and the New York State agencies aren't sharing those resources with the public and I find it disgraceful. And I'm encouraging you to not give up the fight and keep on fighting. 

Self Direction in New York Independent Support Services (ISS) have all these information and they're not sharing them with the public. There's so much miscommunication and the staff there are frustrated because their bosses are communicating with them.

OPWDD Brochure you can look at the Brochures that's out there to get this information from. And I haven't been so bothered by this in the past eight years being in Self-Direction. I know that God has placed this on my heart to do so. I would love to see people's lives being changed through this Organization The Faithful Remnants and I'm praying that this Organization will help you overcome every obstacle that life may throw at you.
